Cartoonal Knowledge

This little piece came to life out of the animation class I teach, where I have the students animate first a bouncing ball, then a flour sack, next adding legs and then arms and finally a head. The girl who eventually evolves was referenced from live action, not rotoscoped.
I realize the opening pan is not great and the perspective on the foreground elements is off. This is because I hastily used bits of art from another project to slap together an opening, but the point is the animation that follows.
The musical track was done for me by Tom Anazziola.
